As far as public record goes, this Ferrari is the most expensive car ever sold. It was bought at the Gooding & Company Auction during the 2011 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. The Testa Rossa (“red head” in Italian) line of Ferraris has been known to be one of the most successful series of racecar in history, and this prototype started the whole thing. Featuring a right-hand drive with de Dion rear axel, v12 engine, and pontoon-style fenders, this Ferrari has been raced all around the world and has had only 2 previous owners.
